are phrases constantly spouted at the twins. everyone seems to hate them.. but, of course they would, they’re different! not everyone is connected to each other like jasdero and devit are.
the ellis twins, born eleven years ago on december 21st, conjoined at the buttocks. they are horrid creatures in every way possible…
or at least, that’s what everyone says to them.
「HEY… jasdero?」
the twins were laying in bed, letting their fresh wounds from a new beating rest.
「..Y..YEAH, devit..?」
jasdero was always the one to cry after beatings, while devit was always the one silently plotting revenge.
「…WHAT do you think being separated would be like..?」
they never really understood why their parents didn’t just go ahead and have them separated after birth.
「…I.. I DON’T wanna be separated, devit.」
「…WHY NOT?」
「I LIKE being with you, even if it means we have to suffer.」
devit couldn’t hide his desire to be separated for the life of him.
「…IF THAT’S what you want, then… okay.」
a broken smile appeared on jasdero’s face as he continued to sob. the twins already knew they had another beating coming, so they stayed quiet for the rest of their peaceful minutes, hoping to be shown some sort of mercy for being good children.
