hiatus (sort of) over
submissions may be posted a bit more slowly, but thankfully the situation in my real life is requiring less of my energy than i'd originally expected. and to be honest, i don't feel 100% by any means, but i feel like seeing the submissions people send in is a little booster that i actually need to read right now!
taking a hiatus
unfortunately i'm not going to be able to maintain this blog for the foreseeable due to a change in my personal circumstances, for which i very much need to be offline. i feel quite bad that i'm taking away a positive space for people in the community, given i'd say it's still very much needed, but while it won't be forever i don't know how long i will be away, so consider this an indefinite hiatus for now. hopefully i'll be back after the summer <3
i won't close the ask box, if you still want to send things even if they're just going to the void for now, feel free to and when i can return, they will be posted. i won't be monitoring it though. in the mean time maybe go and post to rpcpositivitea, they deserve all the love! or go direct to source and fill burnbook's inbox with positivity, do whatever you need to do.
anyway, i hope i can return in a timely manner because i do really get a lot of joy out of being able to curate this little space, but in the mean time stay safe out there everyone!
I'm loving that I finally found a community that accepts me. A community that is actually diverse. A community that welcomes me and my characters with open arms despite everyone telling me it's not okay to be part of the community. It's been a blessing.

my personal jcink positivity of the day, to a writing partner I've been writing with for a couple of months now. you've truly reignited my love for writing in a way that I didn't think was possible, I think I've grown so much as a writer in a short time, and I can't believe you have me writing 5k word posts, i didn't know I could even write a 5k word post in the big 2026!
