Nike Vintage Collection Waffle Racer. not sure why you can only buy these through J. Crew, but they were one of the first shoes Nike founder Bill Bowerman pioneered when he invented the waffle sole by literally getting the idea by using his wife's waffle iron in pursuit of a better traction and overall track shoe for his Oregon track athletes he coached.
