Dear Gus & Magnus,

SCHOOL'S STILL OUT FOR SNOW. But I went back to the office today and played catch-up -- working from home is not great with my new job. And personally, I need the structure that going into the office provides.

When I got home, there Bailey kids and Calhoun kids everywhere, so I took Suki for a walk. At the end of the walk, I could see the boys were all outside, so I turned Suki loose and she got the zoomies playing in the snow.

Dear Gus & Magnus,

Mom and I made muffins and bacon for breakfast before Will went home for mass. Negeen and JD brought us coffee from Mylo and hung out for a bit when they came to pick up Jack. Y'all made a fort in the living room, then played some OG Playstation on the upstairs TV.

Seeing you all lined up playing an old-school gaming system made me nostalgic for my own childhood. I loved putting in hours of Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64 with my friends on the edge of someone's bed just like this.

Dear Gus & Magnus,

You both went home with the Calhouns again after school until I could get home from work. Then we all went to Waldo's Chicken for a dinner with the Calhouns and the Baileys before the winter storms descend on us and we're all trapped in the houses for a few days.

I love seeing you all interact so comfortably within the tribe.

Dear Gus & Magnus,

I had a holiday mixer with the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, then we all went to Waldo's Chicken with the Baileys and Calhouns. All the kids had a ball playing pool, playing video games, and trying to win stuffed animals with the claw machine. It was a good time. These are our people right now.
