well i hate that kind of set-up. these leaders absolutely could not find any other place than the wide open outside to discuss the whole damn plan that the general didn’t know about for NO reason lol. and they never heard the boy running super loudly at them

at least Sieg responded appropriately to being discovered (like, he DID hear Jonas walking away super quietly? but not him running at them super loudly. ok) while he told his mate all these essential goddamn secrets they could have discussed beforehand in a closed room

anyway this was a good episode if a little focused on the Germanians whom i find uninteresting. 

i think the perv pandering is relatively subtle but they really put people’s breasts on the screen eye lines. And I like how the royal guard is made up of men and women but the team is made up of only women anyway but I felt the otaku waifu bullshit slither around in my head like uhhhh

anyway more Finé please. That part where Finé and Izetta look up and down at each other as Izetta offers a hand to pull her onto her ‘broom’ was AWESOME and was the best part.

the plan was pretty clever though. and the Royal Guard are some incredible snipers.

also, the ‘action’ in this anime is actually great? it’s very satisfying but also realistically deadly to humans and that’s pretty awful
