Ya kno, people be out there thinking that they won't fall for any propaganda or whatever. And I'm always like "Yeah! I won't fall for that stupid shit! >:)" at first.
But then like, I remember that one time a friend of mine casually said that they weren't the biggest fan of a specific band when they were surfing the radio or something. And then I spent like the next months/years having my lil monkey brain tell me "you're not supposed to like this band >:(" every time I heard a song by them. And I found myself feeling guilty? Or something stupid like that.
And then way later I was hanging out with her again and a song by That Band came on and she was like "hey I like this song! :D" and I think my lil monkey brian like endgamed away or some shiz and it took me a bit, sitting on 404 mind, to process why exactly i was feeling that way towards the band.
I then told my friendo about the whole thing and they just like died laughing. They didn't even remember saying that initial comment, but thought it was hilarious that I was so fixated on what they said for so long.
And now I think she wants to use that power on me for evil...
Anyways, propaganda ain't just PropangandaTM. It's any little thing that could introduce a potential bias into your bias pit. So keep that in mind whenever you mention your opinion on couches to your friend :)
