can i just say

I DO think that they put too much make-up on the Doctor and it definitely doesn’t look natural

like. it’s extremely easy to look past but i would have liked if they went Adult Life Skills route. you can see an instant contrast if you compare.

look i like 13/Rose art as much as the next girl but. i guess im more a stickler to canon when it comes to throwing enormous amounts of it in disarray for a ship that  - i felt - was actually satisfactorily resolved - the most it could be anyway

and also i couldn’t help but burst out laughing at Ryuko buying one (1) lemon and just straight up eating it with the peel still on!!!!!FKJDKLJSDJF what brilliant writer thought of that oh my god

also my heart went doki doki at Satsuki and also the soundtrack

and damn Ryuko’s badassery AND kind heart are INSTANTLY shown. Then Mako flies into the picture.

ok and let’s be real, if the uniforms didn’t turn into stripper outfits, kill la kill would have been completely and absolutely better in every way. but there’s so much good about it that i can ignore it. also bc the animation isn’t like all liquidy, highlights, fleshy, wobbly, YUCK bullshit. Their bodies are basically animated just like clothing.
