🇭🇹📚🇭🇹 Meet @meccaakagrimo & @thorobredbooks @libreri_mapou_book_store TOMORROW- Saturday, August 24th (12pm - 4pm) for the #BlackRevolutionBookTour ✊🏾🏆📚 . 🇭🇹📚🇭🇹 MAPOU IS BACK‼️ On May 18, A local Bookstore owner #JeanMapou of #LibreriMapouBookStore got into a bad car accident making some last minute errands on #AyisyenFlagDay • Since than he has been hospitalized and has to go through extensive rehabilitation to gain movement in his arms and legs. Thank You for all of the prayers and well wishes. Mr Mapou is feeling much better and back at his Bookstore doing what he does best 📚 We are glad to have you back in the community. • Mr Mapou is an intricate fiber in #TiAyiti #LittleHaiti He has fought for the Kreyol language to be part of the Dade County School Board of Education curriculum in Schools with a high percentage of Students predominantly from Ayisyen dissent. He’s done so much more by keeping his Bookstore located at (5919 NE 2nd Ave, #LittleHaiti) alive for more than 30 years in our Community. We Salute a Fighter, a General, a Rebel with a Cause, an Educator back to his own store to finish work that needs to be done.
