oh no there are so MANY

!!! my favourite headcanon thing i think is having willie call alex sunshine 🥺 i think it’s such a cute nickname and it fits their dynamic so well and i just UGH love it!! 

11. If they aren’t a canon pairing, how would you get them together?

OH I’VE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS

THEY HAVE A DANCE OFF (complete with a big number because obviously) AND THEN IT ENDS IN A TIE AND THEM SORT OF SMIRKING AT ONE ANOTHER AND HAVING THAT SLOW GROWING MUTUAL RESPECT

and then flynn would go outside for a moment to clear her head and carrie for some inexplicable reason would join her and see her just enjoying the warm night air and they wouldn’t say anything. but then flynn breaks the silence and is like “i missed dancing with you” and carrie just looks at her like blushy and shocked because she did too she just didn’t think flynn would admit it

AND THAT WOULD BE THE START OF THEIR CRUSH ARC

6. Which scenes did you cut, and which were added in POYP?

okay well chapter 7 and 8 were originally supposed to be one Thick Chapter but then i decided it was getting way too long so i cut it in half! also i feel like there aren’t scenes that i cut so much rather than there are different outcomes to scenes that i decided to change

i’m writing chapter 9 right now and this scene was originally gonna be a lot 👀 angstier 👀 but since we’re winding down and coming to the end, i decided to not do that and make it fluffy instead! i feel like perhaps you’ll see what i mean when i finally finish it fjdskl

also also they weren’t originally gonna kiss for a While Longer but then chapter 6 just happened and i thought 👀 i think there’s been enough slow burn so i just Had Them Kiss right there instead of drawing it out for longer than i had to!

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

SOCCER AU SOCCER AU SOCCER AU 

Willie and Alex being on rival high school soccer teams!! i’m outlining it (i’m outlining chapter 6 right now!) and i’m just SO EXCITED TO START WRITING AN D POSTING AHHFDSJKLSDLJK 

it’ll be less rivals to lovers (i have a different rivals to lovers plot in mind that i’m gonna write some point in the future 👀) and more trying to fight their attraction because they know they shouldn’t be into each other........ until they can’t anymore

i’m so excited for it holy cow despite the fact that i know less than nothing about soccer 

9. Are you more of a drabble or a longfic kind of writer? Pantser or plotter? Do you wish you were the other?

 i think it depends!! some plots lend to a shorter oneshot whilst others, in my opinion, just have to be long fics. but if i’m writing a longfic, i’m definitely a plotter. with oneshots i’m more of a pantser!

22. Do you reread your old works? How do you feel about them?

YES i absolutely do! i’m very proud of my old works damn it. i re-read poyp and i can get by the days and darkest before the dawn All The Time because i’m proud of them and want to appreciate them and remember/appreciate the time it took to write them!
