Adam arrives home, too drunk for stairs.
Jesse jumps off the couch and bolts out the door and down the stairs.
Adam is leaning heavily against the mailboxes on the wall.
Jesse darts directly to Adam, stopping awkwardly a few steps away.
Adam makes a delayed move to look up when he fears footsteps.
Jesse shifts his weight. “Hey.”
Adam stares at him.
Jesse stares back awkwardly.
Adam is very obviously drunk and stays leaning on the wall, wobbling slightly as he stares.
Jesse “Here. Let me help you?” He steps forward.
Adam pushes off the wall of mailboxes. “You don haf to.”
Jesse wraps an arm around Adam’s waist. “I want to.”
Adam doesn’t bother to try and push Jesse away.
Jesse sighs and waits for Adam to move. “Come on, let’s go upstairs.”
Adam gives in and leans on Jesse, stepping away from the wall and staggering.
Jesse glances at Adam in concern, tightening his grip on his waist. “You going to be okay?”
Adam turns his head heavily toward Jesse. “’Course I will.” He drapes his arm over Jesse’s shoulder.
Jesse starts walking towards the stairs slowly. “Mkay. If you say so. We can relax or something when we get back up.”
Adam “You gonna make me pasta? I should prob-ly eat.”
Jesse nods. “Yeah, there’s some leftover from earlier. Hope you’re okay with that.”
Adam “Yeah. S’okay.” He starts up the steps.
Jesse supports Adam as they walk up the steps. “I really missed you today.”
Adam doesn’t say anything and leans his free hand on the wall, smearing his palm along the paint.
Jesse glances at Adam in concern.
Adam “C’mon.” He keeps trudging up the stairs, leaning on the wall.
Jesse sighs and continues walking. “Almost there.”
Adam reaches the top and pulls away from Jesse, leaning on the wall facing the other. “Why did-n’t you just… play along?”
Jesse shifts uncomfortably. “I don’t know. Because I’ve gotten anons like that before and it bugs me?”
Adam “It was just some-thing stupid… it was fun.” He looks away, overdramatically pained.
Jesse frowns. “I know… fun isn’t exactly a regular thing for me. I’ve focused so much on work before. I don’t know why I overreacted. I do that a lot.”
Adam “But… you had to bring-up me… leaving…”
Jesse “I shouldn’t have done that…”
Adam “I know.” He nods right at Jesse, probably too close.
Jesse looks away. “I’m s- I’m going to try to not do that again. Because I know what you mean. Being reminded about it sucks.”
Adam “Can’t we just worry about it later? Not when we’re having-fun?”
Jesse looks back and nods almost enthusiastically. “Yes. Let’s. I want to have as much fun as possible with you.”
Adam “But right now… I’m very drunk…”
Jesse “Right. Yes. You wanted that pasta?”
Adam “Yessplease.”
Jesse laughs. “Okay. Come on.” He offers his arm.
Adam takes Jesse’s arm and leans into him.
Jesse supports Adam and starts to walk towards the apartment.
Adam leans his head down, walking awkwardly so he can rest on Jesse’ shoulder. “Even though… all tha- stuff… happened… you’re still perfect.”
Jesse hangs his head, hiding a small smile. “You’re more perfect. Especially for forgiving me.”
Adam “You’re so cute, when you do that’…”
Jesse smiles more and looks up as they reach the door. “Oh really?”
Adam “Really. Really.” He looks up at Jesse.
Jesse cranes his neck to kiss Adam. “You’re adorable when you’re drunk.”
Adam “Swee’heart… you’re adorable all the time.” He leans down and presses his lips to Jesse’s in a messy kiss.
Jesse stands still, kissing back and pressing close to Adam.
Adam breaks the kiss. “You fit with me so perfectly.”
Jesse gazes adoringly at Adam. “I’ve never been happier. You’re perfect. And I love you.”
Adam shakes his head. “No, you’re perfect. Perfectly perfect. My Jesse-Roy.”
Jesse smiles. “And you’re my perfect Englishman. My Adam. You know… if we did have children one day… never mind.” He shakes his head and opens the door.
Adam stops as best he can, making an attempt to stare incredulously at Jesse, though all he can manage is swaying slightly and looking in Jesse’s direction. “No, what…”
Jesse blinks and glances away. “I was just going to say, I wouldn’t be opposed to calling our kid Roy…”
Adam smiles a tiny bit. “Really?”
Jesse speaks gruffly. “Yeah, I mean… yeah. Really.”
Adam leans on the wall. “I… Roy. Roy-boy. What do you think of the name Michael?
Jesse glances from side to side. “Yeah… Roy-boy… Michael? That sounds nice.”
Adam “Well… Michael… is my middle name… I didn’t ever tell you that, did I?”
Jesse shakes his head. “You didn’t. But that’s perfect. Roy-boy and Michael… Mikey?”
Adam “How do we know we’re even having boys?”
Jesse “Good point. Faith? That’s my sister’s middle name. And it means a lot…”
Adam blinks. “That’s a good name…”
Jesse “You really think so? I mean… I think I’m actually starting to like the idea of children…”
Adam “Are you really? Can… I tell you something hard?” He nods toward the door, wanting to be inside sitting.
Jesse nods and puts his arm around Adam’s waist, helping him to the couch. “Of course you can. Come on. Let’s sit down.”
Adam sits down and reaches for Jesse. “I’m gonna be honest. I never thought about kids or growing up or the possibility of spending forever with anyone. Until you came along.”
Jesse sits down close to Adam, arm snaking around his waist again. “W-wow. Really? I… wow. I feel the same way, bu-you mean everything to me. Everything.” He almost mentioned Adam leaving again, but caught himself.
Adam blinks, staying quiet after Jesse spoke for a moment, then nodding. “Everything. Liter-ally. I just wan-to be with you.”
Jesse nods, feeling almost emotional again. “I love you, Adam Michael Crawford.”
Adam turns toward Jesse with heart eyes. “I love you too, Jesse Roy St James. Someday, I’d like to say that in front of fifty of our closest friends and relatives.”
Jesse feels his heart stop as he gazes at Adam, suddenly leaning in for a deep and passionate kiss. Upon breaking the kiss, he smiles. “I’d really like that Someday…” he blinks, “How about that pasta?”
Adam kisses Jesse in return, holding on to him like he was about to get up and leave. “Hopefully. Yeah, sure. Pasta.”
Oh my God, I was just in the shower and had a really great idea. What I'd you and I make second rp blogs and ship Jedam?! Like do you follow enigma-extreme or angelkittymeow? They rp as a couple! Oh, and by the way. Feel free to tell me if this is a really stupid idea.
I think I can get behind that x'D I don't think I'd be good at rping though -.- I don't even know how I'd do it. And I do follow a few rp blogs but I don't follow those two you mentioned.
