mybennyisovertheocean and I noticed that there hasn’t been much Kevin love in the fandom lately, so we decided to have a Kevin Appreciation Week! It will be from March 22nd-28th! Special thanks to zachariies for making the header image! The days are as follows:
March 22nd: Draw or Cosplay your Kev Day.
Pretty self-explanatory: a day to draw, cosplay, or write about about your Kevin headcanon or other’s Kevin headcanons! (with their permission, of course!) Maybe he’s doing something. Maybe he’s just standing there. This day is open to pretty much anything.
March 23rd: Post/Pre-Strex Kevin Day.
A day to draw, cosplay, or write about post/pre-Strex Kevin!
March 24th: Believe in a Smiling God Day.
Smiling God-possessed Kevin? Kevin meeting the Smiling God?? Kevin talking about the Smiling God??? We don’t know, that’s for you to decide.
March 25th: Kevin’s Carlos?
Did Kevin have his own Carlos? Who was it? Write or draw who you think Kevin’s Carlos was. Ace/aro Kevin? Maybe his Carlos was his best friend. Who knows.
March 26th: Playlist Day.
Put together the most Kevin-sounding playlist you can. Don’t want to make your own playlist? Post a good playlist (with credit!) and spread the Kevin love!
March 27th: Strex Pet Day.
Kevin has a strex pet. They probably have a ton of cute moments together (other than throwing sticks at it). Write or draw about those moments today!
March 28th: Birthday Day.
Let’s all assume for a moment Kevin knows his birthday. And also that he celebrates his birthday. Because why not? So today, draw or write about Kevin celebrating his birthday! Pre-Strex, post-Strex, during-Strex, WHENEVER.

On a relatedly-related note but not related to the last related note: Someone else we can put on the Confirmed and Indicated POC Night Vale list is Kevin whatever-his-surname-turns-out-to-be. Kevin, as many are aware, recently asked people not to draw double-Kevin as white anymore because it made him as a black man uncomfortable, and we as a fandom are bound by duty and decency to respect that.
Thing is, Kevin looks exactly like Cecil, excepting for the eyes and smile. And if Kevin surname-ambiguous is therefore a POC because of this voice actor decree, that requires Cecil Palmer to be too.
So by drawing Kevin black, we are respecting the wishes of an actual black person and giving white supremacists and those who persist in seeing White!Cecil in order to spite POCecil supporters even less leverage. Everybody wins! Especially jeebuspleabus.
