Day 8 - A few small firsts

So I spent so much effort planning my first week of 30 things, I wasn’t really ready for today and after promising to help put siding on the garage in exchange for help with my jeep doors yesterday, I didn’t have time for any large events, so the following will have to count…

I attended my first graduation party for students that I was not related to.

I hit a weight that is the first time I have been that low since before 2010 so its a first for this decade and it puts me at about 30 pounds less than my heaviest from 2011 so that involves the 30 connection.

I put on my jeep jacket all by myself successfully and in a reasonable amount of time.

And I watched the Shawshank Redemption in its entirety for the first time ever - and cried like a baby repeatedly throughout it (IMDB lists this as the best movie of all time…the AFI best film is Citizen Kane but that wasn’t available on Netflix so that will have to wait for another day)
