I don't understand what all this is about and why...

Why make them destined for each other as soulmates, make them a strong couple after all the hard times and the good times, then bring in a little bit of infidelity, distrust, then again as if to forget about it, then again to spend them through the pain, then bring in sex, words of pure love, still the meaning of predestination for each other and still make it so that their paths diverge... What are these freaking swings?
