Open Letter to Jeezy's Raspy Voice
Dear Jeezy's raspy voice,
The combination of the raspy in your voice and your overly macho alibis is the rap game Godzilla roar. Just like the highlander or a commercially successful west coast rapper there can only be one. The rap game raspy voice enjoys the responsibility to make underage teens feel so lit that they get white girl wasted in the park by the cemetery.
Every rapsy voice is different and Jeezy’s makes you feel like the trapper of the year on your long commute to work. So much so that when no one’s on the same carriage and after one of his signature adlibs it inspires us to look into our own eyes on our front facing cameras and give ourselves a strong trap house salute.
Jeezy’s excels at his lane and he knows it, he’s best at making hard trap singles convincing us listeners we have triple OG status and his new album (Seen It ll) has nothing but that. Yes Jeezy is overly reliant on his beat selection, yes he’s a game spitter not a story teller and yes we won’t listen to this album in 2015 but for a short period it will influence you to do something embarrassing because of the delusions of being a trap god.
