Goaltending is not LA’s issue!!
I’m not the biggest Zatkoff fan but the team losing does not place the blame on him. It is a team sport after all. All of the Red Wings goals were direct results of terrible plays by Kings skaters. I understand that one of the goals was a breakway goal however as Jim Fox puts it “A breakaway can be a "stoppable" situation but I would be more concerned about how it happened Not goalie” (via his twitter). Trust me I’d much rather have Budaj in net but Zatkoff is not a bad goalie. He has an .89 save percentage which is pretty good considering the Kings play pretty terrible when he is in net. I mean in all reality can we honestly say the Kings are playing as well as they did in the past two games? No they haven’t. Zatkoff deserves our support as fans because Quick is not going to be back for at least a month and Budaj can’t play all those games in a row.
