Jegbertstance: A fictional content/ship discourse-focused blankstance. It is inspired by the character of June/John Egbert and the resulting online discourse.
Here are the core beliefs of it:
Harassing someone online for harmless works is immoral and never acceptable, but "proshippers" and "profic" users have twisted the narrative around harassment, and behave/frame the narrative as if any critique of their content is harassment, which this stance directly refutes. From this term's perspective, "harassment" includes insults based on racial/ethnic identity, sexuality, orientation, disability status, or presumed intelligence, threats of harm (including suicide baiting), repeatedly interacting after being asked not to, attempting to trigger someone, and/or doxing.
Discussing that fictional content may have a real-life harmful influence, such as pointing out that a work is simulated child pornography (read the definition of that here) or contains racist overtones is not harassment, but is instead free speech, and every living person should have the right to free speech
Hate speech is any form of expression through which speakers intend to vilify, humiliate, or incite hatred against a group or a class of persons on the basis of race, religion, skin color, sexual identity, gender identity, ethnicity, disability, or national origin is not critique.
Fictional pornography involving minors is always immoral.
Unconsenting pornography of real people, including AI-generated content or fanfiction, is always immoral and should be illegal.
Harrassing anyone (using the definition of harassment above) for a headcanon/character interpretation is immoral and unacceptable, and should be simply critique instead.
Anti radqueer, anti xenostanist, anti "winterpunk."
Piracy is ethical and archival, and shouldn't be considered a crime.
Support of people with contradictory identity and complex genders.
Support of non-traumagenic systems and headmate creation which isn't considered "transplural."
I am sorry this post is long and wordy. I want to create terms that are more serious than most blankqueer terms.
Anything not specified, this term has no stance on and is up to the individual. Emoji code for this if you would like one is 🍏🥸 / 🥸🍏.
