I miss suits and hats and gloves and nice shoes and tailcoats

and i miss the parties, although i probably shouldn’t. it drained my soul away to pretend to be someone I’m not, but now I find myself longing for even the fake smiles and tittering and pleasantries exchanged. the stuffy formalwear and stuffier nobles, the acting, the charming. It was a sort of game, you know?
