Yknow since im aware abt the hc of jemima being demeter and macavity's and also the fact that macavity seems to have magical powers ( best featured in the bway revival where shows he has mind control and hypnosis on the cats during the new fight choreo ) and the fact some people hc him having fire magic.
it kinda makes me wonder like what if jemima would eventually have powers on her own once she gets older like smth of a late bloomer when she becomes a fully grown queen. Like i could picture her discovering her powers thru like some accident at the junkyard ( which i havent fully think abt what happens there but ) and of course at first she doesnt notice it until the second time it activates and when munk discovers like jemima tells him or smth hes like "OH SHIT OH MY GOD ITS HAPPENING" like hes kinda panicking abt it and trying to get everything under control. She decides on what better way to help her control her powers by asking the one and only mr mistoffelees to be his apprentice which at this point is able to control and got used to his powers. Mistofelees was reluctant considering hes not sure abt the new teacher role he was given to but he eventually decides to be her apprentice anyway since his mate tugger told him jemima is like when he first saw him using his powers when he was younger. Also just wanna include some angst of jemima fearing that she would become like her biological father smth that misto feared when he first came to the tribe as he heard of the hidden paw himself and his powers from the other cats.
AUUUUGGHHHHHHHH I NEEDDDDDS TO SEE THIS, I will literally get on my hands and knees and beg to my parental guardian to contribute OH wait I shouldn't spend money at all I won't spend a single dime until I have enough, I'll open my commissions, I'll do ANYTHING to see it, the thing is I'm not in the UK, I gotta get my shit together Cats cures depression.
Edit: Ok some of y'all are glooming real hard and I understand, but no matter what I'm on the hype train, I'm on the mega hype train, sunshines and rainbows to see something new, even if it's extremely different, as long as they commit and there confident in the decisions they've made I will be glad to see it no matter what and I'll die on this hill no matter how it turns out, I'm not expecting it to be Cats I'm expecting it to be "Cats 2026" ❤️

So uh hey cats fans does anyone here remember an animatic set to "always gold"? From what i remember the animatic is like abt the deuteronomy family angst ( specifically the hc that griz used to be his wife at one point ) like basically the opening has kitten munkustrap, tugger and macavity the rest of the videos chronicles the life of the family and the series of tragic events such as grizabella leaving and being rejected and macavity's fall and also shows griz's acceptance as she goes to the heavyside layer.
Like tbh i think i remember seeing that vid from either a yt vid abt it or a tumblr reblog on a cats blog i watched in like 2017-2018 ish so if anyone is active in that era in the cats fandom pls let me know if you guys encountered the vid or the vid has been deleted or unlisted
