Insomniac Olympics by Blockhead :) Also Curveballs by The Wombats.

I hadn’t listened to either of these songs before (or the bands at all actually) so thank you for sending these!!! My general reactions:

Insomniac Olympics

Damn this song has a great groove. It makes me think of that time period around 1 am when the whole house is quiet but you’re awake so you’re listening to music that sits somewhere in that middle zone between energetic and chill. It’s so intriguing. 

Curveballs

Wow this is a really lovely song. It’s got so many great images in it that I can totally picture, and I’m immediately jumping to the way I can use this as song inspiration for some of my rp charas. Definitely going to be keeping this is mind to listen to again.

Isn’t Tobias’s “funny” because of the way he speaks? He says things that may have a different meaning without knowing. So it’s not a joke about rape or about pedophilia, but about him being misunderstood because of the way he words things????

It’s all so over-the-top and dopey that it’s not making fun of rape survivors or victims, it’s making fun of Tobias for being so completely clueless. He’s such a good guy at heart but just constantly gets himself into compromising situations…

Damnnnn. I wish I could see that. I hardly ever get sexy dreams. =(

Though, last night I had a dream about going to an all-queer college in the Hogwarts castle where they had a “no sad trans kid” rule like they have at Disneyland where staff have to do whatever possible to make them happy. We all lived in queer versions of the four houses and practiced witchcraft. It was pretty sweet.
