GUYS I JUST BOOKED MY BIGGEST JOB YET I’M DOING LIGHTS FOR THE OPENER FOR THE KILLERS AT ROD LAVER ARENA!! The very first concert I ever attended was at rod laver when I was 9 years old to see Taylor Swift on her fearless tour, and now I’m WORKING a show at the very same venue 🥹🥹🥹 following in blondie’s footsteps ! It’s all so full circle !
This is one of those moments as a fan where I just feel disappointed and defeated. I don’t understand how Taylor can be attending fundraisers for Gaza one minute then partnering with Disney plus the next. Taylor nation is posting about holding an eras tour watch party and encouraging everyone to subscribe to Disney plus to join in, meanwhile innocent civilians in Gaza are dying due to the Genocide that Disney has helped fund. Certain swifties will find every excuse in the book to defend Taylor’s choice not to speak up for Palestine, but what’s the defence now?? Boycotting is literally the easiest thing she could do, it quite literally requires her to do nothing. She had so many other streaming platforms to choose from. How much extra money could Disney plus have offered that would be worth overlooking the murder of thousands of innocent people? And the worst part is that I am posting this in vain. I can remind people that Palestinian lives are more important than watching this movie, and maybe some fans will agree and also choose not subscribe to Disney plus, but ultimately so many fans still will. Millions of fans will choose their love for Taylor over their conscience and Disney will profit off their wilful ignorance. And there’s nothing I can do about it, nothing that this post can do about it, nothing that the rest of us fans who have critical thinking skills can do about it. It’s honestly just heartbreaking.
Taylor and Matty is still so confusing to me to this day like even putting aside the fact that he’s an asshole just their whole relationship was so weird like they were seemingly so short lived and it sort of came across like they might have just been a casual thing but then there’s those videos of them both saying they loved each other at their concerts? And he was at so many shows? And then they break up and she’s with Travis and it’s as if her and Matty never happened? Idk such a whirl wind man lol.
