It had been an impeccable day - new data on more inhuman powers, followed by readings that there were more sightings on inhumans as well. There had been so much going on that Jemma wasn’t sure where to start or where to end, but fortunately the day had ended nicely. The team was fine, and the new inhuman they had spoken to agreed to the help that was being offered to them.
Which meant most of the team was back on base and the one person she did want to speak to would be here. Jemma hung up her lab coat and headed up to the Director’s room. She wasn’t sure if he would be busy, or might have even fallen asleep by now. She didn’t meant to intrude and before she could even change her mind and go back to her own room, she stood outside of Tripp’s room and already knocked on his door.
Of course she was there to update him on the reports, but really to ask how his day was. It was strange really, that her night wouldn’t end peacefully until she’s had a chat with Tripp. How had it gotten that way was beyond her, but now she couldn’t imagine not saying at least goodnight before being able to sleep as well. Again, she just hoped she wasn’t going to be a bother this late. -- @urbxnlegxnd
