Washington Post Magazine - Concept to Production
I love the Washington Post Magazine and in particular Bronwen and MaryAnne for giving me such fun stories to concept and produce. See my rather rudimentary but functional drawings below...
Washington Post Magazine - 9/1/13 Bronwen Latimar - Senior Photo Editor Prop Stylist - Jen Everett Hand & Arm model - yours truly
We had to produce this job rather quickly and it just so worked out that my wife was a good model for our passed out college student. Poor Elizabeth, we took this in our front yard at 9am as Moms were dropping their kids off at a preschool on our corner. We received a lot of attention.
A Fast Company Holiday
We did the gift guide this year for Fast Company Magazine, a fun and crazy job. A special thanks to Jen Everett, prop stylist and to my trusty assistant, Nicole Cordier. Below the tear sheet is the shot I liked better but the one they picked is nice too.
Below is my favorite shot of the whole shoot along with the published version. There is something extremely pleasing about all the string holding those books in place and the fact that I did that in camera.
and some of the others...
Have Sex, Live Longer
My second Dr. Oz story this year (see other post here). This one is for the amazing AARP, the magazine.
Jen Everett, Stylist

SPD medal finalist!
The Society of Publication Designers announced its medal finalists for this years contest and yours truly was involved with one of them.
Psychology Today, Edward Levine, Creative Director; September/October 2009, “Wholesome Guide to Misbehaving”. Stylist for this shoot was Jen Everett, she made this headband and many others. Go Team!
This was perhaps one of my favorite shoots in 2009, here is another shot that didn't make the story
Pringles Campaign
Just out now, Pringles Stix for Grey Worldwide. What else can one say? And YES, those highlights are real... Many Thanks to Brian Preston-Campbell, Food Stylist and Jen Everett, props. Ribal Rayees, Art Director & DJ and Jayne Horowitz, Art Buyer for Grey. My amazing agent Mari Faucher and her crew. And as usual, my trusty assistants Kristi Workman & Jada Vogt. Photography really is a group effort and I love that!
