It was about a year or so ago. I was at Bottom of the Hill in SF to watch some friends of mine preform. I noticed Jenna, who I hadn't seen in a few years. Probably two thanksgivings ago, when I had dinner with her family (I'm adopted during the holidays). Her brother, a good friend of mine, was the lead guitarist so it made sense, but I didn't know she was visiting from the east coast so it was still a little random. She was sitting at the bar talking when I interrupted. We exchanged surprised hellos and began to catch up. After I was caught up on her life the subject turned to me. I told her how I was doing music and working. It was a friendly light-hearted conversation up until she looked me dead in the eye and rattled "Well where have you preformed?" "What's you album called?" It caught me off guard. I stammered a bit. Eventually I blurted out "Uh I'm working on a few things." Boom. She called me out. Jenna will do that. I realized, you can say whatever you want but if your not doing it, I mean really doing it...... it don't mean shit. Everybody has a hobby.
She's not a hobbyist. Jenna Pirello is an artist. a baller in the classical and modern sense. A graduate of BU and Yale Jenna is legit. straight forward. chill. cool. amazing painter. the list goes on. These are a few of her pieces. click on the link to here website for her portfolio. If you plan on purchasing some of her work be prepared to drop more than a few stacks, racks, quan, pounds, schillings, pesos, dollars....
