They represent the Vieques sites in Puerto Rico where palm trees have been used as natural markers to delineate toxic waste dumping areas. An island paradise with lush forests, pristine beaches and crystal clear waters...A dream location 😎🌊🏖️ But...During the sixty years of official residence of the US Navy on Vieques, 18,000 tons of bombs were dropped on the island and rains of napalm and Agent Orange fell from the sky 😱. Wars tests... Thanks to Alice and the artists for being where the Earth reminds us that the rest it is taking at the moment is rather a good thing!!
