Jennifer used to live in Massachusetts and worked at the Boston Globe before learning about Haven and the troubles. Her trouble had activated and she used to hear the voices in the barn. When she went to a doctor, Jennifer was diagnosed as schizophrenic. One day, she heard Duke's voice on a news broadcast and recognized his voice. Jennifer met Duke and they went to Haven where she later learned about the troubles.
Along with being able to hear voices from the barn, Jennifer is also able to see and touch doors leading to the barn. When this first happened, she was able to help Audrey come back to the regular world. Jennifer was adopted and her adoptive parents died as she was a teen and in her early twenties. She never knew much about her adoption but Jennifer found that her adoption was arranged by Agent Howard.
Duke Crocker - Duke is the only person that Jennifer is really close to in Haven. They first met in Boston, when Duke was thrown into the town via the barn. He helped Jennifer understand that she was troubled. Now, the two are currently dating.
Dave Teagues - Jennifer works for Dave and his brother at the Haven Herald. She is a journalist there. The one thing that Jennifer and Dave have in common is that they are both adopted and their adoptions were arranged by Agent Howard.
