'How To Look Punk' by Marliz (aka Mary Elizabeth Norton) was a zine published in 1977. Who it was for and why it was made? I have no idea. It does contain photos from Jenny Lens, "the most published West Coast punk photographer" who was taking pictures of the early punk scene while it was coalescing. If it's anything this zine is a strange artifact of punk history that was clearly created from an outsider's perspective which captured the superficial surface of "punk as fashion". Why a disco dance troupe (L.A. Knockers) was included here remains a mystery.
