The Tubes - Remote Control (1979)
Blondie helped shape the sound of the late '70s and early '80s by blending punk, new wave, disco, and pop before it was mainstream. Fronted by Debbie Harry, the band became one of the first to successfully cross genres, taking underground influences and turning them into global hits.
They were also early adopters of hip-hop elements in mainstream music, experimented constantly with their sound, and built a legacy that still influences artists today.
What started in the New York club scene quickly turned into worldwide success-proving their impact went far beyond one era.
