My own tribute to the Swedish glam rock band The Ark, whom I was so lucky to get to see live several times this summer... I. Truly owe them so much.

At one point during The Darkness, the player character is shown relaxing with their romantic interest. During this time, the player can watch the full 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird, with their love interest shifting and making small comments throughout. They can end this section at any time with the push of a button, but by providing this level of passive interaction, the player is able to become deeply immersed in the relationship being presented, as they observe and participate in a small, tender moment shared between two people.
