it's hilarious how no matter what people do and say, if they're conventionally masculine(like misha or Jensen) /feminine they'll be perceived as straight but only by straight people. Like if you're bi and have bi friends you look at people like misha and it's like looking into a mirror. And I have to laugh because straights always are surprised that I'm not straight because I am pretty basic, like no glitter, rainbow flags or shaved head lol. BUT OTHER NON STRAIGHTS ALWAYS KNOW RIGHT OFF THE BAT WE ARE THE SAME SPECIES.

not to mention if you’re man married to a woman/vice versa, that clinches it to biphobic people that Obviously They’re Straight. 

but for real, while i haven’t had the opportunity to be in a lot of irl queer spaces, some people you just Know, and misha is 100% one of those people. i honestly didn’t know that anyone in the fandom thought he was straight/”an ally”. how... how do you spend any amount of time perceiving misha collins and come to the conclusion that he’s straight??

jensen is a little tougher cause he does more performative masculinity than misha, but he also does stuff like this

obviously that stuff alone doesn’t mean he’s queer, but it means the performative masculinity stuff is exactly that, a performance. like, that was the entire Joke in the misha’s mockumentary, that jensen presents himself as Tough Cool Bro who likes steaks and rock music, but actually he does tai chi and eat tofu and wears mud masks. 

another thing that cracks me up is that jen regularly does the bisexual finger guns, without prompting. i’ve seen it more than once, but really, look at this picture and tell me this isn’t a chaotic bisexual.

Fandom old here. If I remember correctly there have been queer rumors following Jensen since his Days of our Lives stint (*cough*Austin Peck*cough*). There is still a rather telling picture circulating the internet. On a related note, it's really nice to see Cockles still drawing people in after all these years.

I was wondering if you have any specs on handkerchief code and Jensen. He's worn two handkerchiefs in his back pocket that i can think of (Jib10 and SpnDallas 2019) that I can think of. Are there anymore? Do you think Jensen is aware that this is a thing or it's just random and it doesn't mean anything?

you know, i actually had never heard of the the hanky code before you sent this ask - i guess i haven’t read enough about queer history. after reading the wikipedia article i understand what it is, but probably not enough about it to be able to offer an opinion.

but very coincidentally, shortly after you sent this i came across this post by @eloquent-epiphany on the exact subject of jensen and the hanky code.
