An overview of everything that happend and got announced in may 2026 to/by the fundies I follow

Warden Bates and Kaybrie Patterson announced their engagement

Isaiah Bates and Sarah Holloway got married

Patrick Brian was born to David&Priscilla Waller (Keller)

Jillie Sunshine was born to Jonathan&Kaylee Hill (Rodrigues)

Charrisa Wissmann and Luke Benson got married

Jer&Hannah Duggar (Wissmann) seem to be expecting baby #4

With Hannah Duggars latest pregnancy, curious if she and Jeremiah are outpacing Katey and Jed despite the twins?

Jed + katey: Truett to Nora, 12 months; Nora to twins 15/16 months.

Twins were born 16 months ago so if they were keeping up a similar pace of 12-16m, they’d be due January-May 2026 but clearly havent had another. So 4 kids in 28 months (under 2.5 years- WOW). It’s been 48 months (49 next week) since their first child was born and they have 4 children.

Jeremiah + Hannah:

Brynley to Brielle- 14 months; Brielle to Emery-15 months, Brielle to baby 4- 13 to 15 months tbd. Their first child is 41 months and they’re expecting a 4th soon. It reminds me of how Kelly Jo kept up with and even outpaced Michelle Duggar despite Michelle having twins because Kelly Jo was consistently having kids at 13-15 months vs Michelle having some longer spacing.

Their pregnancy is very interesting. They are continuing a pace that is very fast. For the past months I have done some comparising with the parents. This is what I wrote about Jer&Hannah:

If they had followed the same timeline as his parents (Jimbob&Michelle) then they would have had… Baby #1 on january 30, 2023 (36 days after Brynley) Baby #2 on december 10, 2024 (295 days after Brielle) Baby #3 on april 14, 2026 (336 days after Emery) First couple to have beaten Jimbob and Michelle completly. If they announce soon they will stay ahead.

They didn't announce soon but are pregnant. When you take yesterday as their announcement day they would be expecting the baby in september but I agree it's likely that the baby will be born earlier.

It will be intring what Jed&Katey are going to do. They seem to space out their children more but how many twins will they have? Jer&Hannah seem to just go with how many kids God will give them. And apparently that's a lot

What are your name predictions for Hannahs new baby? I am guessing girl Harper or Finley or Paisley

I find this hard. I didn't see Emery coming so what now? So another name that doesn't fit Sylvie or Arielle

And if they will finaly have a boy: Robert or Jediah (I think they will name after Jeremiah himself or his twin)

I’m not surprised Hannah wissman is expecting given that her family likely didn’t use birth control either, but may have done some natural family planning. I believe the wissmans had 13 kids in 24 years which is far more manageable than 19 kids in 21 years as the Duggars did. Only ~10 kids living at home at once vs 18 with the Duggars. Hannah started having kids a bit later, around age 26, which made me think they were having their kids asap expecting the typical fertility drop off, but i just checked her moms wiki page and saw she was having kids into her late 40s. Yikes! I’m sure this pace won’t continue for another 18 years and they may choose to have a break after having 4 kids so close together like katey and Jed, but man they may be a contender for most Duggar grands. I’m glad Jed and Katy see to be using some type of family planning because they would have had a 5th earlier this year per their earlier pattern of 12-16 months and very likely had 5 kids under four!!! That’s way too much.

I'm not sure about Loren and Gloria having done natural family planning. Their spacings are:

Rachel-Ruth 562 days Ruth-Josiah 557 days Josiah-Bethany 502 days Bethany-Andrew 599 days Andrew-Elizabeth 570 days Elizabeth-Matthias 635 days Matthias-Stephen 758 days Stephen-Hannah 708 days Hannah-Susanna 623 days Susanna-Alaythia 959 days Alaythia-Nathanael 738 days Nathanael-Charissa 1792 days

So with two outliners every spacing is two years or faster. That is pretty normal fertility. It might have been family planning but most likely not. Especially since Gloria had shorter spacing when she was younger and they got larger when she got older. That smells like 'leaving it up to God'. Then there is the huge outliner Charissa. Who was born almost 5 years after Nathanael. So if you take her out of it. They had 12 kids in almost 20 years. That's pretty normal fertility, if not pretty fertile. A child every two years means 12 children in 22-24 years. Loren and Gloria went faster then that. Looking at Gloria's age, if you take outliner Charissa out of it, she got children until she was 43 years old. It will be interesting to see how Rachel and Ruth will be going the next years. Rachel had her 5th at 43rd last year and Ruth had her 6st at 41st last year. I don't think it's very likely that these two will have children past 43. The Wissmann kids did have all their children living at home. Charissa was born in 2006 and the first Wissmann wedding wasn't until 2008. Charissa turned two just a week after the wedding.

As for Jeremiah and Hannah. Yeah, they might have felt some presure to have children because she was a bit older. But I doupt much because both Rachel as Ruth got married even older. (Hannah at 26, Ruth at 32, almost 33, Rachel at 30). So she already saw her older sisters having children back to back despite their older age. I do think they are leaving it up to the Lord and I doupt that will change soon. Especially having three girls first. They probably will be taught to help Hannah from a early age. So yeah, it will be a matter of time before they take of Josh&Anna and Jessa&Ben with most kids. As for Jedidiah and Katey. I think them being able to have twins is a huge factor to why they are planning their family. I believe they said that their odds of having twins are really high. If that wasn't the case I'm pretty sure they would have left it up to the Lord also. Jed and Jer seem really deep into the whole fundie lifestyle.

I would love a fundie family to have the same sex .. for example - 11 girls! My hopes are on Jer and Hannah at the moment! Also I think Brynley is the image of her dad. Don't u think?

That would be so much fun. John and Alyssa were a good one before they got Rhett. Right now Jer and Hannah are the only one with three kids of the same sex. So they are the best one to bet on for now and they sure keep up a good pace with having children back to back.

Brynley sure is a copy of her dad. I'm curious if Brielle will be a copy of Hannah and who Emery will resemble.
