Already did rose but jade!!! Jade!!! She’s in my holy trinity of hs girls smthn about her just hits home... like characters’ facades are a big element of homestuck but Jade being a lonely girl who uses extreme positivity to cover up her feelings of anger and sadness; her fear of rejection and being isolated again if she makes any of her friends upset... it feels like one of the most grounded and realistic characterizations (especially for a teen girl) in a story full of extravagant personalities. But when you pair it with the fact that she WAS alone for most of her childhood and she DID get isolated from all her friends again even When she was always nice and trying to be the most likable version of herself it’s honestly, truly tragic. 12/10.
