I just. Love tiny, improbably ships. I blame it on that friend of a friend who, in high school, introduced me to their ship for Get Backers by basically saying “yeah, these two have like ONE scene together, but I think they’re right for each other” and that was, like, a revelation.

Shipping doesn’t have to make sense based on canon. Sometimes, it’s just about figuring out the dynamics that could exist between characters that have never even interacted once, you know? 

Plus even if when I don’t ship them myself, i really enjoy writing for small/rare pairs because the people who do enjoy it are always so damn passionate about it, and it’s a joy to interact with that.
