hi folks! this blog has officially come to an end after eight (8!!!!!) years. i’ve loved sharing merlin fics with y’all and seeing this fandom still thriving after all these years! to all the merlin writers, artists, creators, and even lurkers: y’all are the best! thanks for all of your support over the years whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you just found this little blog, it’s been much appreciated! <3

to all the mods that have helped me over the years, thank you! to eirene and especially stark and isabella (you the real ones <3) this blog wouldn’t have continued without you. thank you for all of your hard work!!

and as for me, y’all can find me on my main if you’d like and i’m always around on the discord servers! i still can’t believe this blog i started as a way to keep track of the fics i read turned into something like this! i know i keep saying this but thanks y’all! i’m so happy i was able to share fics and artwork and everything this blog has become.

now for some ~official business:

the submit will still be open for fics recs indefinitely (aka until I decide to turn it off lmao). however, if you send a request through the submit it will be deleted. i’ll update this post if/when i close it. as well, i may post recs from myself here and there, but i wouldn’t expect it!

most importantly: this blog will remain updated and serve as an archive!

so, you’ve just stumbled upon this blog and don’t now where to look. here’s some resources if you’re just getting started or need a refresher:

have a trope/theme, kink, crossover, setting, etc. that you really want to read, and wish there was an easy place to find fics with what you had in mind: check out the tags page!

What is Merlin Cinema?

It is a fest centred around movies, where participants can take any films listed on IMDB – new, old, short, feature, animated, etc. – and turn them into Merlin fanworks. Just like Reel Merlin.

Excited? So are we!

How does this work?

Last year was fun, just as the previous years. But (there's a but!) since we are less mods, we'll try to do things differently, hoping you'll like it as much as we do!
