Clover, Butch, Jericho, and Charon react to the lone wanderer asking them to be their boyfriend/girlfriend?
Clover:
The question rang in her ears like an unfamiliar melody. She stared at Lone with widened eyes, genuinely confused at what they were trying to ask. Clover knew she was a relentless tease, yet she didn’t expect this sort of response from the other. It had been so long since she was apart of a healthy relationship, or anything wholesome at all. Eulogy Jones had damaged so much, too much of her mind and it took her forever to figure out the Lone was indeed, asking her to be their girlfriend. No hidden intentions behind the question, they patiently awaited for an answer. This sort of gesture would enrage her former lover, and to be perfectly honest, she couldn’t care less. She knew that they wouldn’t treat her like he did, constant tormenting on a day-to-day basis. This was someone she could trust, so with hesitance, she would reply with a soft, “Yes.”
Butch:
He instantly hid his shock behind his arrogant attitude, teasing them for falling for his devilishly good looks. Who wouldn’t want a piece of such an attractive man, amiright or amiright? He truthfully had no idea why they would love someone like him. Butch was a pretty self-centered person, but he certainly had his doubts about physical and mental appearance. He protected himself with an outer shell of a boorish and overbearing disposition, and he knew the moment he had messed up when he saw Lone’s tears. Shit, they were crying?! Butch certainly did not mean for this to happen. Wrapping an arm around their waist and pulling them close, he dried the waterworks, “Hey, baby-doll, there’s no need for all that..” He smirked, “What kind of boyfriend would I be to have ya’ crying all the damn time?”
Jericho:
The old mercenary grunted at the question. He’d taken plenty of lovers, but this was a different story. The man/woman he’d traveled around the D.C. Wastes with wanted to be part of an actual relationship with him? The thought would almost be funny if it weren’t so sad. Jericho was definitely the definition of a stone-cold man. Nothing took to his liking easily, and mercy was not a word in his dictionary. Lone, however, seemed determined to win him over, and for the most part, they had. It had taken a very, very long stretch of time, and eventually there was just nothing he couldn’t resist about them. Jericho hid it easily, unlike Butch or Clover, but he was actually considering accepting the offer. It couldn’t be that bad of an experience, Lone being one he knew well, so after a long cerebral debate, he told them that they’d have to work for it, work to gain his heart completely, but for now they could consider the two an item.
Charon:
This wasn’t part of the contract, was it? He certainly hoped not or else he would’ve had a rather… Unwanted relationship with a previous employer. This wasn’t the case with Lone, though, they were considerably nice to the ghoul regardless of his unusual circumstance. The words lingered in his mind, did he have the right to refuse if he wanted to? That seemed unlikely, since the binding of contract forced him to do whatever the holder wished. Yet, it was in the way they asked him that made the matter questionable. Instead of bringing it up in a demanding notion, it felt like they had taken time to carefully plan out their wording, attempting to make it seem more like a question rather than an order. At this point, it was if they wanted him to have a choice, which he did. Even without some stupid piece of paper, telling him that no matter what he wanted, he had to do it, this decision was of his own accord, and the option he chose was a simple nod, accepting Lone’s hug of happiness with open arms.
