UNCEREMONIOUSLY SHOVES THE 9 KEY INTO THE 9 DOOR AND RUNS IN, DRAGGING XUE WITH THEM
This room is starkly different than all the others -- dried blood crusts the walls and floors in both deep, repelling colors and a very human rusted brown.
Everything bears traces of large claw marks, each groove larger than a human’s head. The operating table, though being solid metal, is torn completely into two parts. Operating tools are scattered around the room, but all are so bent and battered they’re dull and unusable. The backside of the door is the most destroyed, claw marks gouged into all visible surface. On one of the walls is written, “She said she was on our side but she just watched. She’s not one of us.”
On one of the still intact surfaces is a jar where a brain floats in formaldehyde -- on the front is taped a blurry photo of something with glowing eyes, fangs, and thick fur.
SCORE! Jericho nyooms back to room 2 for their Cash Prizes
The room is a sterile operating room, large overhead lights angled from every direction to illuminate a metal operating table in the center. Along the walls, both supply and filing cabinets cluster in orderly fashion – they all seem to be locked.
On the table is a mysterious safe, locked as well.
Not to be deterred by their sorely soggy state, Jericho figures that since [Professor Layton voice] This Reminds Them Of A Movie, they decide to check out the theater, still salty that it wasn't showing even ONE of their own films.
A key is sitting on a chair in the movie theater, right where Arielle died. A feather is next to it, along with a piece of paper attatched to it with a code.
Everything sure is disgusting around here! Deciding to get their exercise for the day (if they're 'subjects', aren't they supposed to do that?), they flounce back to the habitat rooms, this time opting for the ocean one where Loic's body was recovered! Jericho doesn't particular want to swim around, though. It's basically like a pool. :/
There they go, flouncing.
Xue attempts to make her umbrella into a boat to search for anything, but it fails and all they do is end up soggy.
Wow, someone should really clean that up! Instead, Jericho bounds off to the games room, Xue in tow.
This room isn’t any less cleaned up than the mess of the other Environmental Room. The words on the wall still remain, and red blood is splashed everywhere. No key to be found, though.
The room is similar to the sterile rooms, but a few filing cabinets are open or unlocked. Some are pulled out halfway, files evidently missing. There are some files that aren’t entirely ruined, torn, or covered in blood. The following files list subjects, it is clear to make out who these people are. The following files list:
“Biological Mother of Subject 022: Matthias Wolfram. Status: Deceased.Details: Uncontrollable due to powers. The ██████ species recommended to be killed on sight if possible; recommended methods include ████, ██████, and ████████. The species seems to have a pack-like affinity as demonstrated when this subject was placed with Subject 022 unaware of relation. The bond elicited significant emotional trauma when 022 witnessed the subject ██████ and ████████ under researcher control. Due to the surplus of species and the danger presented, researchers deemed it expedient to only attempt to contain one at a time and euthanized ████████.”
“Biological & Adopted Twin Sister of Subject 034: Apollo Brandt. Status: Unknown. Details: We took █████ for the █████, Artemis reacts █████ to the series of experiments. She almost seems to be in complete agony, despite her being asleep.” The rest is blacked out, almost scribbled out until at the end of the page reads. “We lost this subject due to █████. We will take her █████ instead for our tests.”
“Biological Mother of Subject ████: █████ ████. Status: Deceased (?).Details: Despite efforts, the subject is impossible to kill. Each attempt results in self-ressurection, including disembodiment and separation of limbs. Subject refuses to demonstrate powers and ██████████ in human form. Aside from regeneration and inability to die, subject outwardly shows no signs of being a cryptid. Researchers note this pattern has been seen in other subjects, all female. Hypothesis for species include ██████████, █████, and █████.”
“█████ of Subject ██: ███ Eguchi. Status: Deceased.Details: After a series of tests, █████ died instantly. Tests were too strong for the monster, and was dulled down after death. Corpse was put █████ for further experimentation.”
“Biological Mother of Subject ████: █████ █ta█n██. Status: Deceased.Details: A hard subject to deal with. █████ attempted flying away numerous times, calling out for her daughter. It came to the point where we had to muffle her, and put her under █████ to decrease further risk. A doctor overdosed her, resulting in death. Body was █████ due to being useless to study. Method of extermination confirmed: ██████. No more subjects of this species needed.”
“Biological & Adopted Brother of Subject ███. Ikura Sunadori. Status: Unknown.Details: The subject had ██████ ██████, but the results went well. Only for about two weeks, their condition seemed overall fine, until ████ ████ █████ late reaction to the ██████ thus, ██████ took place. This may have resulted in several ██████, our numbers ██████ ████. The subject was ██████ ██████. Corpse was discarded. ”
“Biological & Adopted Brother of Subject 085: Calico Blackwood Status: Deceased.Details: Goes through tests fairly well, but needs to be drugged in order to cooperate. The █████ had to █████ due to deadly █████. A recent test caused Oliver to lose control of his █████ and he had to be put down. Corpse was taken in for █████ and █████.”
