Do you have a favourite Byleth S support for F!Byleth and M!Byleth?
Ooooh! Absolutely! I usually divide my favourite pairings into each route, so I'll try to be concise.
F!Byleth:
AM: Dimitri - possibly my second favourite (or third because of one of M!Byleth's ships) fire emblem ship. They help each other out of dark places and help each other grow into better people - and that's the main storyline?!
SS: This route is my get-all-the-S-supports route, so I don't really have one. Probably Yuri, it's a weird romance, but she calls him his real name in their letters and that's kind of cute. I think if I were to do a getting all the marriages right run (eg. my favourite ships) I'd leave her single in this route.
VW: I think Alois. He becomes a second father to her and that is so sweet.
CF: Jeritza - It has that villainess x underling vibe which is funny in a CF run. They steal away and are never heard from again, what icons!
M!Byleth:
VW: Manuella. I was actually going to do another S-support, but when interacting with Manuella I fell head over heels for their dynamic. They are my second or third (Dimileth being a contender for either place) favourite fire emblem ship.
SS: Manuella. Ok. I'll admit...Not very creative. But I can S support her in every route, when I can't do that to Dimitri. My second choice for SS is Shamir. I use this route to get all the S-Supports, but it's always painful not to be S-Supporting Manuella...
AM: You all know what I'm going to say: Manuella. My second choice for AM is Catherine. I don't usually play M!Byleth with AM though.
CF: Actually, not Manuella! My only time playing through with him I S-Supported Edelgard, so that might be the option?
I hope my biases didn't show through too much (I know I'm not the biggest CF enjoyer!). AM is my favourite F!Byleth route, and VW is my favourite M!Byleth route so those are my favourite S-Supports overall.
