I may have mentioned before that Jerri doesn't have many female friends, mainly because she "gets around" and other women aren't comfortable with this. Well, let's just say, she has never given people actual solid reasons to think she'll steal boyfriends/husbands. Not her style at all.

While she can cook the basics, don't expect anything gourmet from her in the kitchen.

She sometimes wonders where her life would've gone if she didn't join the FBI. She would probably be working IT somewhere. While she likes computers, working in an office environment doesn't sound all that fun.

She's low-contact with her parents. Whenever they "catch" her on the phone, they bring up marriage and kids. It's gotten old years ago. No matter how many times she tells them those things are not in her plans, it's like the information goes in one ear and out the other.

She wonders if there's a worse reason for why her group hasn't caught Harvey and the others he's working with other than just sheer incompetence. After all, what if someone in her team is leaking information to the criminals? She hates to think this of anyone she knows, but it's always a possibility.

“I’m sorry, William. I didn’t realize you were sitting here as well,” she apologized calmly, as the dripping wet men jumped out of their seats.

“Ok? Please explain what’s going on. This is not like you,” he was astounded.

“I just thought the boys could use something to help them cool down, seeing as they’re in heat,” she explained.

“Hey!” Mitch tried to complain.

“So in heat, in fact, that it gets in the way of their work performance and at the most inopportune moments at that. Ain’t that right, Mitchie?”

“Uh...” The way she was looking at him told Mitch she knew exactly what happened at the motel, but how?

“By the way, Rachel and Ashton are ok, Will. No thanks to these two. They were busy doing something more important, apparently. Or, should I say someone?”

Jerri/Delia: I don’t need a cappuccino every morning, yet I still have it.

Demarcus: Just because someone’s book smart doesn’t mean they actually have any brains.

Isobel: Some people are just a gift that keeps on giving, aren’t they?

Hubert: I guess some people just want to make their mark on the world. Even if it is by being known as the guy who rode through town naked on a wild animal.

“I can get behind that,” Jerri agreed.

“Ay! What’s up! Sorry, I’m late,” Aaron ran in excited about something.

And then he noticed the mood in the room and the state of their clothing.

“Hey, are you all having a wet t-shirt party or something? I didn’t realize we did that kind of bonding thing here...”

“I will handle these two from now on,” William told Jerri. He was smiling in the way that was reminiscent of a teacher about to announce the whole class failed an exam.

“I am sorry again about getting you drenched - I didn’t realize you sat this close to them,” she apologized.

“Nonsense. Knowing you, I’m glad you’ve decided to ‘punish’ them in a way that can simply be fixed with a change of clothes.” He knew full well Jerri was showing restraint today, compared to how she behaved a few times in the past. Was this growth? He hoped so. “I will impart on them further the seriousness of their blunder. Where are your friends now, by the way? If you don’t mind?”

“Staying with some family,” she told him. “In Appaloosa Plains. We’ve decided they’ll stay there until things are calmer.”

“Sounds like a plan,” he nodded. “I take it you have contact with them? Good. This was, we’ll keep them in the loop and vice versa.”

“Dude? What the hell?” Mitch glared at Adolfo. “Besides, it’s not like I was the only one with someone?”

“Don’t look at me, I didn’t say anything!” Adolfo shrugged.

“No, you didn’t, but you didn’t need to,” Jerri told them. “Did you know that, while you two were happily bumping uglies with someone, there was a belligerent drunk trying to knock down the door that the people under your protection were behind? And that, only after realizing you were useless as protectors, did they decide it was safer to leave without you?”

“Uh...” Adolfo wondered if he should just admit he wasn’t even on the same floor at the time.

“So that’s what happened...” Mitch realized, remembering the strange noise that night. 

“Unbelievable,” William shook his head. “You’re not even denying it now, are you? The agency’s standards have really fallen since the days when I started out.”
