I didn't plan to draw and post so much comic stuff! I do have an art blog, I should've posted my art there but I decided to categorize and keep posting my DC stuff on here. However now that my brain fog has cleared up, I will be reblogging my drawings from this blog on my proper art blog (@bulionis - you can follow me there if you want, but I don't post my art very often)

The League days are over in my read through :( JLA run ended and Extreme got cut off really randomly. Idk what's up with them. Sadly my beloved League is no more. I must detour into BOP now, chronologically. But I'm kinda beefing with Batman right now, I see too much of him and I don't want to read stuff with him. I kinda get this way with overexposed characters. Hopefully he won't appear there much, but I think he might. We'll see.

I'm actually really excited to meet Babs and her girls! Is she the leader? Idk, but I think she's very important. Also gotta see for myself what that Babs x Dinah talk is about 🧐 Time to branch out into more yuri.

Also also, it's time for me to read some Ted solos I think. I've only ever read Booster's one, still haven't finished that one actually. Idk, the more comic I read the more I want to read next. It's never ending. Probably gonna get tired of it soon. Maybe I'll rewatch Peacemaker and daydream about the Booster show that's apparently coming soon. That's one more reason to stay alive, huh? I'd sure love to see that one! It's totally happening, right? Idk, even if not, it's fun to pretend like it is so I have something to look up for.

Usually my hiperfixations switch up every few weeks and Ngl, I kinda feel like the DC/Boostle/JLI one is leaving me. Well, I'll always carry it in my heart and also will be coming back to it sporadically. I hardly abandon my special stuff forever. We'll see how it goes. For now I'm super tired from work & life, I need to get a day off (or two) and then maybe my mood will change. Maybe the Boostle is here to stay.

A new power cord for my scanner should arrive on Monday, I have so many drawings to scan it's unreal!!! I haven't had an art flow like that in a while, I should've started reading DC comics a long time ago!

Why did Booster look his best after Superman died he lost his future hero fit?? The extra long hair??? All the tops he wore including that legendary cropped one???? Look at this magnificent bastard!

If Ted wasn't in a coma he'd be foaming at the mouth (thankfully he woke up to the magenta crop top fit which was the best of them all - if only Booster put it on sooner Ted's coma would've been much shorter I feel).

Superman joins the JLA and dies soon after? This version of the league is so cursed!

The whole Doomsday thing was very intense, and that cover with Booster holding 'dead' Ted (who was drawn in such a weird pose with his back arched and tits out????)? Wow. Just wow.

Beetle is in a coma again. How is he still a genius after so many comas? How is he not feeling the consequences, he is a human without super powers so he should be changed by that. I have no clue how exactly cause I am no doctor, but serious head injuries like that certainly change people. Even in comics, I remember what happened with Guy in JLI!

And Booster's super suit is busted too! Everything went to shit, except for Guy - that terrible bruising and swelling on his face, so severe that he could barely see, disappeared really fast. Or maybe that was the ring working, idk. I assumed that not much time has passed because Booster was still wearing his ruined suit, I think if more time passed he would've changed to something not ruined? I may be wrong though, maybe he was so distraught by Ted's coma he just didn't have the energy to change. And he just walked around in his ruined future clothes for days. Which is really sad if true.

Also superman's death must've been big back then I imagine, but now the effect is lost on me because I know he will be coming back, I just don't know how soon. I wish those powerful characters stayed dead and didn't come back in the same continuity. It would've made their death even more impactful. But I kinda get it, Supes is The Superhero Ever, he had to come back. He is Hope. Can't sell more comics live without that!

What do I want in next issues? Beetle waking up and working on a new suit for Booster (which I know is going to happen), the big funeral or memorial to Supes (I may not read it though if it won't be in JLA, I wouldn't know which issue to pick up), everything going to shit even more before it starts getting better - or maybe this is the all time low. Can you get even lower than dead Supes? I'd say no, but this League rooster is prone to catastrophes (and I love them so much for it! They're so real!). Oh, forgot about Max! I want to see this rat scheme some more, idk what about exactly, I just like this slimy man!

Also what was the European branch doing during this crisis??? I may have to pick up JLE again to see. Did they have a mini doomsday of their own? Flash could've been useful in that fight. And PG. And Metamorpho. They have some powerful guys out there!

Finally made it well into the 90s with the Justice League. I'm loving Booster's longer hair! And Beetle is getting a little more serious too, like he still jokes a ton but suddenly we remembered he's a genius too! Also he squats all over and does weird little poses and hangs upside down from things now? Okay blue definitely not-spider boy! Still, I love seeing more layers to him than just being goofy.

I love Tora's little crush on Supes, but who can blame her? He's the ideal man after all! Still, I hope Guy gets his head out of his ass and apologizes to her for being an ass (then, he's always an ass, but I like the crush he has on Tora - she's way out of his league, but they kinda work, they compelled me).

Also I can't wait to see more of Max plotting and scheming before he turns to villainy which sucks but hey, he's kinda cool for now! I enjoy him very much.

L-Ron hasn't been gone for too long but I miss him too and await his return, as well as J'onns (but he really deserves a vacation after putting up with this messy League for so long - technically he went to space for whatever important reason, but I hope he's on some warm planet sipping drinks with colorful umbrellas and working on his tan).

Also as a fellow eastern European I must shout out my boy Dima! I had no idea they had a Soviet hero on the team! Huge props to you Americans, even if sometimes he was over-the-top stereotypical, he kinda got better with time. And then I didn't read as much on the European branch, but when he showed up he was great! I like him a ton!

Looking by the number of issues, I'm roughly halfway through JLA. I've read more than a hundred so far and reading stuff chronologically is such a pain, I have to read an issue or two and then check on a reading list to see which is next. And still I miss an issue or two every now and then. But I'm working my way through them and having fun!
