Day 25 is a lovely, simple acoustic retelling which shares it's lyrics with Anaïs Mitchell and Jefferson Hammer's recording. Enjoy!

jesse: hey, whilst i’ve got you here...
aurora: i know what you’re gonna say. the party, isn’t it?
jesse: if we stop calling it a party and started calling it an intimate get together, do you think maybe you could convince your parents to let you come?
aurora: [laughing] are you kidding me?
jesse: no, but i’m serious. it’s not a party really. only a few of my close friends will be there.
aurora: i... i don’t know. oh, here’s something for you.
baby i done done enough talking need to know that you're mine baby we done done enough talking gotta be right now, right now
aurora: i’m so sorry. oh my gosh, i- i’m so sorry.
jesse: no no no, it’s okay. i- it’s alright.
aurora: i can’t believe i did that.
jesse: do you maybe wanna... shall we go inside?
aurora: no! no, i’ve got to go.
jesse: are you sure? i-
aurora: i have to go now, okay? let me go.
jesse: okay, okay, let me just... let me at least arrange you a ride home, okay?
aurora: here. a couple weeks ago another kid did an assignment on civil rights and she said this really helped her out.
jesse: thanks...
aurora: [sighs] listen, i’d come if i could, i really would.
jesse: i know. i don’t want you to have any trouble with your parents at all. it’ll just be a shame not to have you there, you know?
aurora: i... okay, i’m not saying i’ll be there, but... maybe put aside a drink for me just in case?
jesse: awesome. i gotta get going - my dad’s waiting for me outside - but fingers crossed i’ll see you next weekend.
jesse: aurora?
aurora: jesse? oh my gosh, what are you doing here?
jesse: i have an essay to write over break and i couldn’t find any decent resources locally, so i thought i might find some stuff here. what are you doing here?
aurora: oh, just... my job. i work here now, on weekends.
jesse: no way! are you enjoying it?
aurora: it’s not bad actually. especially if you don’t mind helping little kids to read every once in a while. anyway, um, what topic’s your essay on? maybe i can help you find some things.
jesse: hey, you really made it! and look - we’re twinning!
aurora: hiya!!
