the original shot, and edit, of this was in color, but it never really worked for me and i could never figure out why.
it wasn’t until recently, when i went back in and turned it black and white, that i figured out that the reason why it wasn’t working was because all the color was, in my opinion, distracting me from what i liked best about it.
jesse’s position and the bold lines that the sun was making with all the shadows.
sometimes it just takes a new edit to bring out what was always there to begin with.
(the tumblr theme i’ve chosen lets me upload and display really large photos and i enjoy how they look without my copyright watermark on them. so, you’re more than free to cut out all my ramblings when you reblog but, y’know, try to obey Wheaton’s Law and leave the credits intact)
