 Another black and white from Jesse Reno’s (@jessereno) class, “Painting: How and Why?” Having fun with it, but my own style seems firmly entrenched. 🤔Still working on painting ‘wilder’, but I’m also thinking that working on wood panels, rather than canvas, would lend itself better to that. • •

Anthem of the Arcane • 

I’ve never taken a class in the 10 years I’ve been painting, but I love the work of @jessereno so I was thrilled to see his new online class become available. I’m working on a looser, more primitive vibe and more detail in the under-painting. 🤔 It sure is fun, and I’m not using #poscapens so the details aren’t as crisp (which I suppose is ‘looser’).
