Thank you for the ask, Jessica! I'm gonna answer these about Ashlin.
3. How competent would your oc be in a survival situation? Would they be better off on their own or in a group?
Ashlin would do pretty well in a survival situation, I think. They would probably try and do stuff alone, but if they fell in with a group, found a found family, she'd appreciate it, I think. She already survived on her own on the streets for years at this point. She can fight, steal, and cook. Perhaps the only category they're lacking in is knowing when to walk away from a fight. Also perhaps medical care.
11. Does your oc have a good sense of direction? Do they get lost easily?
Ash has an excellent sense of direction. They always know exactly where they are in the city, and can find their way around very easily. Even in new or unfamiliar places, they always have a sense of where they are. It comes from her need to always have an escape route. Being a thief and growing up on the streets means you always need an exit strategy, and she's well aware of that fact. So they're very good at memorizing routes and noticing things
16. How affectionate is your oc? How do they convey their affection? By being touchy, or through more subtle ways?
Ashlin isn't affectionate in the slightest. She's afraid of losing people she gets attached to, either by their choice or by them dying / getting arrested / etc. So, she tends not to show affection very well. They're more likely to give you a begrudging compliment than a hug. If they call something you do "passable", that's a glowing achievement. One of the ways Ash shows affection is through noticing. She's a good observer and has an excellent memory. She's the kind of person who will remember something you told her once 3 years ago. They'll remember your favorite food, and notice when something's off with you before anyone else, once they know you well. ("Of course I remembered" is a love language.)
