Tea Party

「In his nature, huh? Well of course, it only made sense. How else could someone so close to her age already be in the position he was in? Still, she didn’t find him particularly intimidating. If anything, he just seemed to be very good at putting on a show for other people.
As he stopped to think, she realized that he was in what seemed to be his work attire. It hadn’t occurred to her that he had been in a hurry to get somewhere when they ran into one another… She was about to apologize and say goodbye when he proceeded to ask her to have tea with him.
“I-I, well…”
She was a little dumbfounded at first. She had just been going to study at the diner with some tea anyways, but for someone that everyone knew to ask her was unexpected to say the least. After she gathered some of her composure, she attempted to give a proper response.
“S-Sure, but…are you sure that it’s alright? Not that I am ungrateful, it’s just that you seemed to be in a bit of a hurry earlier.”
She gave him a small smile, not wanting him to take it the wrong way.」
Goro let out a soft chuckle, she was by far the poiltest student he’d come across in a quite a while.
“Yes, I’m sure. And truth be told I was in a bit of a rush but after reading over the messages I recieved it appears my pressence will not be required today. Nijima-san seems more that capable to deal with things today” he explained.
He put a hand out as a gesture to her. It was his way of welcoming her to join him for tea again.
“Now shall we?”
