Warcraft CHP: 1
A/N: So, instead of a Warcraft comic, I made a fanfic, which was a lot easier for me. I don’t have the motivation for the comic, so...yeah. Here’s Chapter 1 of the fanfic!

Jesse fell from the sky, the Wither Storm snarling furiously above him. He’s failed to defeat it, and failed to save Reuben.
As the brunette brutally hit the ground, a soundless grunt flew from his lips, then everything went black.
~
As the Wither Storm passed, everything, every tree, every patch of grass, has disappeared. The color of the sky has been completely drained, and turned over to a deep yellow.
The air smelt of sulfur, and smoke, it was enough to make one gag. Everything spiraled downwards in a flash, people knew things wouldn’t be the same ever again.
The world, as we know it, was dead.
~
His blonde hair flowed as he ran, blue eyes glazed over with tears, and his fists clenched so tight, the fingernails were nearly digging into his palms. With a sharp inhale, he screamed, “Jesse!”
Wind was his only response. He whipped his head left and right, trying hard to detect his friend. Smog surrounded him, making it difficult for him to see.
“Jesse-,” he began to shout before seeing a dark silhouette through the smog. A gasp flew past his lips, and he began sprinting as fast as his legs could take him.
As more of the smog cleared, his eyes began to capture the figure better. Brown hair...armor... oh fuck.
“N-no-! No, please!” he cried, skidding to a stop as he gotten close enough to the body. The blonde whimpered, the tears finally spilling over. He fell to his knees, covering his mouth with both hands. “J-Jesse...?” he breathed, placing his hands onto the brunette.
He lightly shook the other, attempting to bring him back, “Jesse...! Jesse, please g-! Please get up...!” he sobbed, his tears drizzling onto the brunette’s armor. It was hopeless, Jesse was out cold. He was hurt...hell, he might even be-- No. He can’t be, he’s far too strong, he can’t...
The blonde, or as people call him, Lukas, shook his head, freeing himself from those thoughts. He sniffed, leaning down and engulfing his friend in a hug, “oh, Jesse...” he whispered.
A cough made the blonde jump. He pulled away from the hug, “Jesse?” he gasped. Another cough flew from Jesse’s throat. The blonde felt a ton of weight lift from his shoulders. “Oh my god,” he sighed, “you’re...you’re okay...”
The brunette peeled open his green eyes, “Lu...Lukas...?” he whispered, his voice sickeningly dry. He tried reaching a hand, but instead broke into a coughing fit.
Lukas felt something break inside of him as he saw Jesse in this state. “Oh god-! Are-! Are you okay?” he stuttered, tears still leaking from his eyes.
Jesse grunted, trying to lift himself from the ground, but fell back, coughing harshly. The blonde’s eyes widened, “h-hey, don’t-! Don’t move...please,” he ushered, “you’re already very h-hurt,” he said.
The brunette groaned, “Lukas...” he wheezed. The blonde felt his heart lurch, “I-it’s-! It’s all gonna be alright, Jesse-! I’m...I’m going to help you...” he breathed, placing a hand onto Jesse’s shoulder, the other on his back, and he gently lifted the other upwards.
The blonde brushed a strand of hair from the other’s face, “I’m here...” he whispered, gathering the older male into his arms.
Lukas got to his feet, carrying Jesse bridal style. The brunette clung weakly to the blonde, his eyes starting to fall shut. “H-hurts...sleepy,” he mumbled. Lukas hummed, smiling shakily, “it’s okay, Jesse...you can rest.”
The brunette mumbled incoherently, and finally let his eyes fall closed. Lukas sniffed, biting his lower lip. With a shaky sigh, he began walking back to where the other’s were, glancing at the other every now and then.
“I love you, Jesse,” he whispered finally, beginning to sob again.
