im not a jesson defender because i think their controversy as a couple is in its own field (AND SHOULD BE CALLED OUT), but reading most of these confessions is starting to make me realize yall overreaching too much.
while some points are agreeable such as orientalism, whitewashing of characters in official art, and a lot of creepy writing in ship dynamics. But most anons arguments just use these thesis topics as a cover up to hate on jess completely, and not really pay attention to the bigger picture of why her narratives are written in such a odd-specific way. If you’re a frequent MCRP watcher, you will slowly understand that 2010s-2020s mcrps always had an issue being influenced by weeboo culture BECAUSE they were written by millennials weebs.
