i know a lot of people say that just having a character that’s not cishet existing is already representation- but you have to understand that it means something to portray a lgbt+ character as desirable and worthy of a happy and lasting relationship.

 and it doesn’t make them less important but there are many kids out there that are not straight and not cis and they can’t see anyone loving them because of who they are, and it’s important to have couples like these that end up happy because of it. it’s important to let lgbt+ kids know that they can have someone they love and that loves them back and grow old and have a family.

So I sent this to @helluva-pilot a little while ago and I know blogging at 5:30 in the morning isn't the best idea but I can always reblog later. Soooo... Headcanon: Poe sleeps like a burrito when he sleeps on his own, but if Finn's there he's on his back with one arm outstretched so even if he isn't holding him, he's still touching him. And Finn? Stretches like a cat in his sleep; back arching and full-bodied, and it jostles Poe just enough to get him to turn onto his side and pull Finn flush against him. It's a good arrangement, this thing they have going for them.
