Family Trip to Guilin Part 3 Anyways, after getting all my jackets out (I brought extra cause the old fogs mentioned that they are packing light cause it wouldn't be so cold, and if they were ok in Europe at 0 degrees, they would be totally fine with 10-15 degrees without a heavy jacket. Well, not according to my Google research, and boy they were wrong) and passing it around the freezing relatives, we headed immediately to the mountains. This particular mountain was one of the highest peaks in Guilin and has some religious significance to it, and you would go up via (very old and creaky) cable cars. Honestly, it was more like those skiing swing-ma-jig-thingies and not closed like those 'proper' cable cars. And being at higher altitude, oh boy did the cold bite us in the butt. I checked my phone and we were swinging up raw into 3% with 98% humidity and pretty stinging winds. Honestly, it felt like a death sentence into the icy mountains. (It wasn't icy, I'm exaggerating. I hate the cold) #jesssrandomtravellog (at Yao Mountain) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1PKSzxjbCw/?igshid=1u5f9bx3ri1wr
