post mostly for screaming my ideas abt chaos emeralds into void but also so i don't forget all the shit i came up with it's also mostly hcs from reading wiki cause there's no way im going through all sonic games to get the lore... it's clear that ALL those fucking magic stones in sonic world are strong, like yeah, basic fact, w master emerald being the sigma one (and phantom ruby too, from what i understood) i'm not sure if it ever was stated how exactly it came to exist im simply relying on sonic wiki's info here BUTTT i think that's clear that dark and light gaia were like, probably the first earth beings, aka gods so, why couldn't master emerald be their creation? it's powerfull as fuck, they're too, and, i raise my finger with smart face here, master emerald, thing that controls chaos, CHAOS, the power that shouldn't be controlled in the first place. but it is. like, black and white together, dark and light literally, ying and yang being merged together and representing those two fucker gods themselves (and also it kinda sounds poetic in my opinion)
then, solaris. god too, who can control and influence time and space (wiki info here too but i mean he was fighting hedgehogs in past present and future, plus he could take and throw enemies to different dimensions if i remember correctly) so, the idea - he, like master emerald, is created by light and dark gaia to guard their dimension while those two honk mimimi in the earth until they have to fight like siblings over last ice cream
and then, chaos emeralds, they're weaker than master but can control chaos too, but also, ALSO can help with time and dimension traveling, which is why i think they could be created by solaris somewhere in the space. but then, hold my hand, BUT THEN they were found bu ancients (and created probably to deal with End too). Emeralds lead ancients to earth, to master emerald (also the way they skitter around earth after usage and rest in some kind of alternate small dimension can be solaris doing too)
sol emeralds are created by solaris too, but in sol dimension that he created (i mean cmon, SOL emeralds, SOL dimension, SOLaris. there's have to be a connection i scream as they drag me to white room) and the jeweled scepter or whatever that stick called, it's the reason sol and sonic's worlds can coexist. also the reason why master emerald can influence chaos but can't fuck with sol emeralds is exactly because they were created in another dimension and have other core powers (not chaos but fire) and the last thing, phantom ruby. it's created by solaris too, but it resembles master emerald more because it's powerful too, but is more focused on time and space power, more like solaris itself Sooo yeah, just lots of thoughts of how some of jems came to be and how they can be connected with gods, cause let's be real dark and light gaia HAVE to be strong and more like. interesting, have more influence in story rather than just fighting over earth like they're divorcing they're GODS and there's sooo much you can think of with them
