— 13 reasons why
I've been thinking about this all day, and had to sketch out concepts.
So heres a swap au of two of my characters and then two of the characters from @onlytheembersremain 's comic.
In other news I accidentally deleted what I've drawn for my overblot Jamil and I fear I may have to walk into the ocean

READING 14/8/22 - ‘HEATWAVE’ - VICTOR JESTIN
Today I finished reading ‘Heatwave’ by Victor Jestin. This is the Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month for August and I bought it because of the weather. I have read it over our second heatwave of the summer and I’m not impressed. It is a quick read because it is a novella of less than 200 pages but it left me feeling so what? I’m not squeamish but I found the dramatic beginning quite disturbing. Now I can’t even remember the resolution.
I will keep it with my seasonal books though and I expect I will re read it and grow to love it over the years (?)
These are my heatwave books so far …
I read ‘Instructions for a Heatwave’ by Maggie O’Farrell last month for our first heatwave and loved it. When I first read it I thought it was ok but … but in July I thought it was fantastic.
So I am looking forward to appreciating Victor Jestin.
