Ive been reading lots about this and it saddens me to see that the reasoning of the murder is being suggested to be 'over a parking dispute'. Is this really the best excuse to come up with when Muslims are brutally murdered? This is clearly due to religion-hatred! Why is the media not blowing THIS out of proportion! Why is the world not saying ANYTHING about this? If the victim was of any other religion but Islam and the murderer was Muslim - the media would have already started 1k protests, 10million hate pages and 900 trillion islamophobic posts. I URGE EVERYONE TO BLOW THIS OUT OF PROPORTION. I am the same age as one of the victims, i still have so many plans for my future, career and personal life, i still think of the all the things i want to do and see! It is not fair that they were murdered merely because of their faith. I condemn the #ChapelHillShooting & would like to tell everyone, Muslim or Non-muslim - I believe in Allah SWT and His Messenger Muhammad SAW AND AS A MUSLIM, what I want, is PEACE. #JeSuisMuslim #MuslimsAreNotTerrorists #peace #islam #muslim

To my Muslim sisters, Wear your hijabs proudly & with strength. Don’t let anything shake your faith, the more they try to get rid of Islam, the stronger it becomes. Let the deaths of the Chapel Hill shooting make you firm in your belief that God is the most Merciful and truly from Him we came and to Him we will return. Don’t forget the reason you wear hijab and how beautiful it actually is. Its scary right now but know that when we stand united no one can take away what we believe in. To my muslim brothers, never stop defending your Muslim sisters. Whether they wear hijab or not, now more than ever your sisters need you on their side. Please, keep them, and the rest of the ummah in your duas.
